Problem One: 1998-1999

Describe or draw a function, f, with the following characteristics:
    *  f has domain (-infinity, 8)
    *  f has range (-infinity, 9)
    *  f(4) = 0; f(5) = 0; f(7) = 0
    *    The limit, as x approaches negative infinity of f(x), equals 9
    *    The limit, as x approaches 8, from the left, of f(x), equals negative infinity
    *  f(-1) = f(-3); f(-1) > f(-2)
    *  f(1) = 1
    *    The limit, as x approaches 1 of f(x), is 4.
